It's that time of year again, when all of our teams are getting ready to strut their stuff and compete at that UK National Cheerleading Championships. WSA believes attending the annual competiton is about so much more than training, extra tumble sessions and routine choreography. At WSA we encorouge all of our cheerleaders to become involved in making pom costumes, good luck banners and cards and also help with the planning and funding for the club to attend the event.
This year our Teenie and Junior A teams (white and bue) have been working on a huge banner to wish all UK Cheerleaders good luck at the event. Our Junior B (Spirit) on good luck cards to give to othe teams attending and the Seniors (wild) on pom dance costumes. The seniors have also been involved in a Youth Opportunities project and have secured the club funding to buy much need equipment etc.
I would personally like to say well done so far WSa Cheerleaders, you are definately showing the rest of the UK how Sheffield shows its SPIRIT!!!
